Cole Gallery

Published: October 5, 2019

Northwest beckons

CAROL BANKS WEBER

Cole Gallery beckons, showing the works of acclaimed NW sculptors and painters in classical and contemporary art. Gallery artists also teach workshops and classes (over 100 every year) at Cole Art Studio, a 1,100-sq.-ft. learning space in the gallery’s lower level, and sometimes at ArtWorks on the corner of 2nd and Dayton. Owner/director and veteran watercolorist/oil painter Denise Cole turned her love of art into the area’s largest gallery, in operation since Dec. 2006, when it was Cole Gallery & Artists’ Supplies. In June 2012, she and business partner Tracy Felix expanded, shortened the gallery name, and opened ARTspot, an art supply store on 408 Main St., 425-640-6408.
