Schack Art Center

Everett’s Hot Spot for Art and Artists

Schack Art Center is located at 2921 Hoyt Ave. in downtown Everett. The galleries are open seven days a week and admission is free.

Discover the fascinating world of glassblowing when you visit the Schack Art Center in downtown Everett, WA. From the large viewing window in the main gallery, visitors can watch working artists shape molten glass inside the Schack’s hot shop while admiring diverse exhibits featuring locally and internationally known professional artists.

Or step inside the hot shop and get a taste of glassblowing during one of the Schack’s popular “Make it Now” sessions offered on weekends. Spend 20 minutes with a skilled glassblower to create your own piece of glass art, including seasonal favorites such as pumpkins and ornaments. All supplies are provided and reservations are highly recommended. Finished projects will be ready for pick up 48 hours after your session. Visit schack.org/make-it-now for upcoming dates.

While the Schack hot shop is a popular attraction for all ages, this 19,000 s.f. art center also has seven other specialized production studios to accommodate classes in a wide array of mediums including silversmithing, lapidary, fused glass, flame- working, stained glass, painting, drawing, and printmaking.

And, don’t forget to visit the Schack’s gift shop on your way out the door. They carry glass, ceramics, jewelry, cards, and other handmade gifts of art by more than 175 Northwest artists. Their friendly staff will help you find the perfect, one-of-a-kind gift to take back home or celebrate a special occasion.
