World Soccer 2026 Tournament Schedule

In 2026, Seattle and Vancouver will host 13 World Cup matches across 25 days, bringing global teams and fans to the Pacific Northwest. With group stage and knockout rounds on the schedule, the region becomes a major stage. It’s a rare chance to experience world-class soccer close to home.

In preparation for the world’s biggest sporting event coming to our region, we are pleased to share the West Coast leg of the match schedule, which includes locations in Seattle, Vancouver, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Whether you plan to reach the games by car, plane, train, or sea vessel, all of these great locations are just a short trip from Snohomish County.

Seattle

The Emerald City is hosting six matches at Seattle Stadium (also known as Lumen Field), including four group stage matches, one round of 32 match, and one round of 16 match.

The group stage matches feature powerhouse teams from groups B, D, and G, with the USA-Australia billed as the top match.

You can reach the matches at Seattle Stadium by light rail, train, bus, or bike.

Vancouver, BC

Less than 95 miles (roughly 153 km) north of the border from Snohomish County, Vancouver is hosting seven matches at BC Place, including five group stage matches, one round of 32 match, and one round of 16 match. Vancouver is one of only two locations where you can watch Canada compete in the group stage, and the home team is giving fans two matches at BC Place — one against Qatar and the other against Switzerland.

San Francisco Bay Area

Take a two-hour-and-fifteen-minute flight directly from Seattle Paine Field International Airport (PAE) in Snohomish County to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to explore the magic of the City by the Bay. From the Golden Gate Bridge to the famed Alcatraz Island and the historic cable cars climbing its steep hills, San Francisco is a proud West Coast city. The San Francisco Bay Area Stadium (also known as Levi’s Stadium) is hosting six matches, including five group stage matches and one round of 32 match. Fans visiting the Bay Area will be treated to touted group stage clashes such as Qatar versus Switzerland and Jordan versus Algeria.

The San Francisco Bay Area Stadium (also known as Levi’s Stadium) in Santa Clara, CA, is one of the regional match hosts. You can reach the Bay Area with a 2 hour and 15 minute flight from PAE.

Los Angeles

From PAE, you can reach Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) directly in less than three hours. LA is known for its sunny southern California weather, its many beaches, and being the epicenter of the entertainment world. Los Angeles Stadium (also known as SoFi Stadium) will host eight matches, including five group stage matches, two round of 32 matches, and a quarter final match. LA is hosting the tournament’s first match in the United States with a matchup between USA and Paraguay. USA will also face the winner of a playoff match that will be decided by March.
