A legacy of aerospace innovation
For more than a century, Boeing has been the heartbeat of commercial aviation in Washington State. In Everett, the story begins in 1967 with production of the 747, a plane that revolutionized air travel and in time, became known as the “Queen of the Skies.”
Today, the factory is home to the 767 Freighter, KC-46A Pegasus Tanker, and the 777 and 777X.

Starting from Boeing Future of Flight, in Mukilteo, north of Seattle, the 80-minute guided tour of the Everett factory offers a rare look into the intricate process of assembling a widebody aircraft.
